: 20-70mm, convexe, étalé, ± visqueux, rouge-orangé, vermillon, mèches blanches surtout vers la marge
Lames : assez serrées, adnées, grisâtres, brun-violacé noirâtre, arête érodée
Stipe : 20-100mm, fibrilleux-méchuleux, lisse au-dessus, blanchâtre ± ochracé, anneau fragile et fugace,
Ecologie : été-automne, humus, sciure, compost, sol enrichi en azote

En 2008 suite à une étude ADN il est créé le groupe LERATIOMICES
contenant entre autre "Leratiomyces ceres (Cooke & Massee) Sponner
& Bridge" qui a pour synonyme Stropharia aurantiaca, Hypholoma
aurantiaca, Psylocybe aurantiaca
Index Fungorum et NCBI ne considèrent pas Leratiomyces ceres comme
synonyme de Stropharia aurantiaca, Hypholoma aurantiaca, Psylocybe
aurantiaca
